Sunday Mass Sessions

Every 3rd Sunday of the month marks SUNDAY MASS at San Francisco’s longest running dance club, The End Up. Following in the footsteps of legendary End Up parties like Super Soul Sundayz and Devotion, Sunday Mass aims to bring quality Deep House to its constituents under a simple message, “For The Love Of House Music.”

The event was conceived by Monica Linabury (m.deep music), Greg Yuen, and Paul Thomas in July of 2008 and quickly established itself as one of the most popular monthly parties in San Francisco. Thanks to hard work, determination, and over 200 hours of quality House Music, Sunday Mass continues to grow and remains San Francisco’s premier end of the weekend destination. The doors opened over 38 years ago at The End Up and Sunday Mass is proud to call it their cathedral as the club continues to boast the best dance floor in the city.

Fast forward to today and Sunday Mass continues to bring top notch talent on a monthly basis alongside residents Greg Yuen, Joey Alaniz, Dino Velvet, & Leonard. Past guests include: Miles Maeda, Mr. V, Alix Alvarez, Pete Moss, Andy Riley of the Inland Knights, David Harness, Lars Behrenroth, Raoul Belmans of Swirl People, Atnarko, Ken of East Coast Boogiemen, Rick Preston, Wally Callerio, Jason Hodges, Jay West, Uneaq, Luke Mckeehan, Jamie Thinnes, Tony Hewitt, Harry Who, Mike Frugaletti, James Amato, Bernard Jones, and Nacho Vega.

Session 21: Greg Yuen live @ Sunday Mass Vinyl Edition (1-16-2011)

Closing the night out at our final Sunday Mass at the End Up was of course none other than the Mass creator himself, Greg Yuen. Greg has been known for staying true to the deep house sound as well as keeping the dance floor packed late night at the End Up and that is exactly what happened during this amazing all vinyl set!

Here's what Greg had to say about his set at Sunday Mass:

"It's hard to make a statement about our last Sunday Mass at The Endup, but what a night it was with great vinyl played all night long. As with all Sunday Mass parties before, a great time was had by everyone because of the MUSIC that was played by all of the DJs involved. Sunday Mass has and always will be remembered as a party that is "For The Love of House Music," all of which was created by our resident DJs and guests. Thank you to everyone who supports the vision of Sunday Mass and the DJs that created the vibe on the dance floor."
